Queer Stability

Welcome to Queer Stability

A Bold Vision for Queer Futures

We’re more than a fund, we’re an organization for lasting change. Queer Stability is building a future where LGBTQ+ people have the space, support, and stability to thrive. From mutual aid, to owning our buildings, to investing in our businesses, we're reclaiming power, property, and possibility.

Mission Statement – Queer Stability

Queer Stability exists to build lasting infrastructure for LGBTQ+ liberation by acquiring, holding, and stewarding assets that ensure long-term stability for queer communities.
We invest in organizations, people, businesses, real estate, capital assets, and financial portfolios to create safe, sustainable spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals, businesses, and nonprofits can thrive, free from displacement, discrimination, and systemic instability.

Queer Stability Community Hub

For too long, queer spaces have been temporary,
dependent on leases, vulnerable to displacement, and disconnected from long-term ownership.

The Queer Stability Hub changes that.

By acquiring and (re)developing property, we create:
  • Permanence instead of precarity
  • Ownership instead of displacement
  • Opportunity instead of limitation

This is how we build generational stability.

We’re building something big and local to Washington State.

As part of Queer Stability, we have a multiple ways that you can support the community around you.

1) GTCF (Greater Tacoma Community Foundation).  The Queer Stability Fund is a component fund of Greater Tacoma
Community Foundation. Donations to this fund can be tax deductible.  This fund provides the ability to donate dollars and complex gifts.  Funds distributed from here go to benefit entities.  Support Here (Giving here may be tax deductible)

2) Queer Stability FOR PROFIT support for individuals, businesses and organizations.  This is a fund that gives mutual aid to LGBTQ+ individuals, LGBTQ+ businesses and LGBTQ+ organizations.  We hope that you will join us in this important effort to support the LGBTQ+ community.  Support Here

3) GoFundMe. Queer Stability is building lasting infrastructure for LGBTQ+ liberation. Creating spaces, stability, and ownership for queer people, businesses, and nonprofits across Washington State. This GoFundMe supports our mission to keep queer-owned organizations and community spaces in place by funding property acquisition, education, and mutual aid. Your donation helps us establish a foundation of permanence where LGBTQ+ people are not just renting space, but owning it. Together, we’re reclaiming power, property, and possibility for our community. Every contribution—no matter the size—brings us closer to a future where queer stability is not just a dream, but a reality. Support Here
